These terms govern the use of the ImaMissio platform and the ImaConnect app. They apply from the moment an account is created.
Version of 8 September 2026 — document pending legal review.
1. Purpose
The platform brings together parish and diocesan management (ImaMissio ma paroisse, ImaMissio mon diocèse) and the app for the faithful (ImaConnect): service times, prayer intentions, calendar, donations, news and the parish directory. ImaConnect is free for the faithful; management workspaces are open to church bodies under contract with Synergie Innovation.
2. Publisher and hosting
The platform is published by Synergie Innovation. Data is hosted in France, on infrastructure located in Paris, and the database is encrypted at rest. Full publisher details appear in the legal notice.
3. Account and access
Creating an ImaConnect account requires accurate information and a password of at least twelve characters, which you keep confidential. You are responsible for actions carried out from your account. Accounts for management workspaces are created by the church body or by Synergie Innovation; they are not open to free sign-up.
4. Expected use
Respect the purpose of the service: parish life, prayer and mutual support.
Do not publish unlawful, abusive or defamatory content, or content harmful to others.
Do not impersonate anyone, nor wrongly present yourself as clergy or as a representative of a church body.
Do not divert the service to commercial, political or canvassing ends.
Do not attempt to access data or workspaces not intended for you.
Do not disrupt the service or circumvent its security measures.
5. Content you publish
You remain responsible for the content you submit, in particular prayer intentions and messages. You grant the publisher the right to display it within the service, for the sole purpose of operating it. Content breaching these terms may be removed, and an account suspended in the event of serious or repeated breach.
6. Donations
Donations are collected by an authorised payment provider; no card number is stored by the platform. A donation goes to the church body you designate, which is its sole beneficiary and alone responsible for issuing the tax receipt. Except for an input error reported without delay, a donation made is not refundable.
7. Personal data
The processing of your data, retention periods and the exercise of your rights are described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms. You may export your data or request deletion of your account at any time from your personal area.
8. Service availability
The service is provided as is, without guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or external causes. The publisher uses reasonable means to preserve availability and data integrity, in particular through regular backups.
9. Duration and termination
These terms apply for as long as your account exists. You may delete it at any time from your personal area. The publisher may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms, after informing the person concerned save in an emergency or where required by law. Certain data is retained after closure where the law requires it, in particular canonical registers and accounting records.
10. Changes and governing law
These terms may be amended; any substantial change is brought to your attention, and use of the service thereafter constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, disputes fall to the competent French courts.
